Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete an English Friends account, operated by AI Edu Studio, and what happens to your data. Deleting an account permanently removes your child's learning data, which cannot be recovered.
Option 1. Delete in the app (iOS)
- Sign in to the English Friends iOS app.
- Select the Settings tab → Delete Account.
- Follow the instructions to confirm deletion. Your request is processed immediately.
Option 2. Request deletion by email (all platforms)
If you use Android or cannot access the app (for example, if you have lost your device or want to check for remaining data after leaving the service), use your registered email address to send a message to noreply@aiedustudio.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. After verifying your identity as the legal guardian, we will complete deletion without delay (within 7 business days) and reply with the result.
Data that is deleted
- Account information (email address, child's profile name and age group)
- Conversation records (speech transcripts and AI response text)
- Pronunciation assessment records and stored audio recordings
- Learning session records and report statistics
- Legal guardian consent records
This data is deleted immediately from the Company's databases and storage when the account is deleted and cannot be recovered.
Data that is retained
Data is retained separately only where applicable law requires it (for example, access logs under Korea's Protection of Communications Secrets Act), then deleted after the legally required period. All other learning data is deleted immediately without further retention. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
